We are the TikTok Search Engineering team, dedicated to building a world-class mobile search experience. You will help develop high-performance, highly reliable search products that serve hundreds of millions of users, while tackling end-to-end engineering challenges in complex business scenarios. Here, we do not define roles by traditional functional boundaries. As an Agent Engineer, you will not only contribute to the development and iteration of core search products, but also explore practical applications of AI Agents in engineering productivity, process automation, and product innovation. Responsibility: 1. Participate in the development of TikTok’s search results page and other related core scenarios, working closely with Product, Design, Algorithm, and other cross-functional teams to independently drive the full cycle from requirement analysis and technical solution design to development, launch, and post-launch evaluation. 2. Leverage multi-platform technology stacks including Lynx, Android, iOS, and Server to develop and continuously optimize search business modules, ensuring code quality, performance, and stability. 3. Evaluate product performance through A/B testing and data analysis, identify experience issues, and drive feature iterations to continuously improve the user search experience. 4. Integrate AI Agents into daily R&D workflows and explore their applications in scenarios such as coding assistance, intelligent debugging, automated testing, issue troubleshooting, and business process automation. 5. Participate in engineering initiatives such as performance monitoring, exception management, cache preloading, and stability improvements, and drive the full closed loop from issue discovery and analysis to solution implementation. 6. Build reusable technical solutions, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the team’s engineering efficiency and software quality.

任职要求

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with software development experience. 2. Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift. 3. Strong engineering mindset, with attention to code readability, maintainability, testing, monitoring, and production stability. 4. Ability to independently break down problems, formulate technical solutions, and drive execution; able to proactively explore and validate solutions quickly when facing uncertainty. 5. Open to AI-assisted programming and Agent-based ways of working, with a willingness to continuously use, evaluate, and improve AI tools in real business scenarios. 6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and take ownership of outcomes. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience in mobile, cross-platform, or backend development, with exposure to technology stacks such as Lynx, React, Flutter, Android, or iOS. 2. Experience in building search, recommendation, content platform, or large-scale internet products. 3. Familiarity with performance optimization, stability engineering, monitoring and alerting, automated testing, or A/B experimentation. 4. Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Aime, or Codex to solve real engineering problems, with the ability to clearly explain the impact and outcomes. 5. Understanding of concepts such as LLMs, prompt engineering, function calling, RAG, and MCP. 6. Experience building Agent applications or automated workflows using tools such as LangChain, MCP, or Agent frameworks and strong personal projects, open-source contributions, technical blogging, or competition experience.
