About the team: The T&S GenAI & Emerging Product team's mission is to empower the development of GenAI models and applications. We do this by building a world-class safety, testing, and risk management system that ensures GenAI innovations are launched responsibly. The Technical Product Manager for GenAI Safety Solutions serves as a platform and strategy builder across the board. They drive the overarching "GenAI SaaS" (Safety-as-a-Solution) vision, keeping a broad, cross-business perspective rather than honing in on a single product. Their role involves staying ahead of industry trends, researching emerging GenAI risks, and collaborating with Algo and R&D teams to create a centralized set of tools, platforms, and models that GenAI Safety Product teams rely on. Responsibilities - GenAI Safety Infrastructure: Creating features for centralized GenAI safety platforms such as BEATS for evaluation and auto-labeling, Excalibur for a unified moderation pipeline, and ByteRadar for real-time post-launch monitoring. - Evaluation Systems: Provide auto-labeling features, safety leaderboards, prompt governance frameworks, and tools designed to support adversarial attack experiments, also known as red-teaming. - Moderation Capabilities: Develop GenAI content moderation models alongside Algo teams to address content safety risk and IP/copyright risk across different GenAI modalities. - Foundation Model Guardrails: Create safety filters and data cleaning pipelines for GenAI foundational models. - Agentic Development: Develop and iterate on systems and tooling using AI-powered agentic development methods. - Program Management: Oversee long-term solution programs in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. - Industry Research: Explore the latest trends in GenAI risks, including jailbreaks, attack methods, case studies, and policy positions, and turn these insights into practical safety features that can be integrated into our platforms and tools.

任职要求

Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, data science, or machine learning, with bonus points for a background in a Trust & Safety-related role. - Proven technical experience in building solutions from the ground up, either independently or as part of a small team across product, RD, Algo, and DS. - ⁠Fluent in Mandarin is required as the role requires interacting with Chinese content and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, fluent in English is also required as it is the working language. - Skilled in product design with a knack for working with data, and passionate about tackling complex products and ecosystems. - Hands-on experience and a natural curiosity in GenAI, along with AI-assisted agentic development methods like Codex, Claude Code, Mira, and others. Preferred Qualifications - A go-getter mindset that actively addresses and overcomes business challenges.
